Diabetes is a metabolic disease which occurs when your blood sugar level is too high.It occurs when pancreas cannot produce enough of the hormone insulin or when the body becomes resistant to it.
There are 2 types of diabetes which are:
a.Type 1: It is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin and also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin dependent diabetes.
b.Type 2: It is common in adults which becomes resistant to insulin or doesn’t make enough insulin. This type of diabetes are increasing day by day.
Apart from these type of diabetes there are reversible diabetes which are pre diabetes and gestational diabetes l. Pre diabetes occurs when sugar level are greater than normal but sugar levels are not that high to be called as diabetes. Gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy and can be normal once the baby is born.
Symptoms:
- Losing weight
- Feeling tired and weak
- Urinating often
- Feeling thirsty than usual
- Having slow healing sores
- Can have blurry vision
- Infections such as gun skin and vaginal infection

Once diagnosed with diabetes
